Besides teaching and learning, there is another activity in Alam Bahasa Indonesia. The social activity is called PURI PEDULI (PURI Cares). Since 5 years ago PURI Cares has supported students in some elementary schools and vocational schools in Yogyakarta with scholarship. Students, teachers, and staff of Alam Bahasa Indonesia practiced to play the gamelan music instrument at Gita Langen Budaya, an art course in north Yogya. After enjoying the performance of an elementary student group, we tried hard to give our best. Our struggle succeeded as at the end we could play one song. Read more »

The atmosphere in Alam Bahasa turned warmer as 2 groups of teachers and students were competing to make vegetarian lunch.
After exploring the traditional market near Alam Bahasa to get all the ingredients, all group members worked hard to make the most unique and delicious creation.
